Upon receipt. We invoice every 2 weeks (on Mondays) and payment is expected before the next billing cycle.

We do rely on the schools’ attendance lists and if your child is not in school, we will automatically mark him/her absent as well.
Please send a note to the child’s teacher AND NOTIFY NYA by a separate note addressed to NYA, by phone, email or in person that they will not be attending. It is not the responsibility of school personnel to copy notes. We cannot accept text messages.
If we have not been notified properly, we will keep the child with us.
There are no credits issued for days a child is absent.
No, if a child is absent for whatever reason they may not attend after school or enrichments on that day.
We understand schedules change because other activities, sports, lessons, parental obligations and the like call for rearranging after school schedules. We require ONE WEEK’S notice for removing a child on a contracted day or days. We can usually accommodate adding a child on a day he/she does not normally attend and this is billed as an extra day. We do not allow swapping days and there is no credit for days a child does not attend. All extra days are billed at the full day rate of $22 regardless of how long the child stays.
All changes to persons allowed to pick up your child are to be made in your CommunityPass account.
Yes! Many of our enrichments run two sessions on a given day and we give non-NYA members priority for the first sessions beginning right after school. NYA members whose children attend on a day of the enrichment receive a discount.
Enrollments for enrichments are made through CommunityPass. You will receive confirmation notices or be notified if your child is on a wait list.
Flyers are available via backpacks, at sign-out tables and are posted on our website under Programs / Enrichments. Registration will go through the CommunityPass system.
You were asked at registration which of our three major fundraisers you want to help out with, so rest assured we will contact you! Please feel free to call if you need to change your commitment.
We post our snacks on the daily whiteboard and also (try to) plan in advance and include this on the monthly calendars.
Site Coordinators create and (mostly) follow planned activities, specials, and snacks each month. These are emailed to parents and posted at the sign-out tables.
