About Us

Nauset Youth Alliance enhances the growth and development of youth and families in our community by nurturing and inspiring our children – creatively, socially, civically, academically –positively guiding today’s youth into tomorrow’s world.

Nauset Youth Alliance (NYA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).

Nauset Youth Alliance provides after-school and summer child care for youth ages 5-12 in a structured and safe environment at both Eddy and Stony Brook Elementary Schools in Brewster, and has in-kind use of the buildings. We also offer enrichment opportunities to the total Brewster elementary school population throughout the school year. We partner with other like-minded organizations in order to offer appropriate programming and support services to the members of our community.

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal program that provides reimbursements for nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children and adults who are enrolled for care at participating child care centers, day care homes, and adult day care centers. CACFP also provides reimbursements for meals served to children and youth participating in afterschool care programs. CACFP contributes to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children and adults in the United States.

After-School is a time when children learn valuable life skills like self-regulation, relationship skills, and problem solving. NYA focuses on enhancing these skills through planned activities and structured  free play.
